Bike Shenandoah is a family-friendly and healthy way to support the work of agencies and ministries working in the local community. Over the last 22 years, Bike Shenandoah has raised funds of over $500,000 in total.

The following entities benefit: Mennonite Central Committee, Our Community Place, Roberta Webb Child Care Center, NewBridges Immigrant Resource Center, Virginia Mennonite Missions and the Stephen R. Leaman Memorial Endowment for Missions.

The series of rides has drawn more than 100 riders each year for rides ranging from the 5-mile family ride to the metric century (62 miles).

In 2020, Bike Shenandoah honored the memory of Stephen R. Leaman, longtime educator and principal, advocate for missions, and avid bike rider. On a crisp fall morning, 133 cyclists participated in the largest turnout in Bike Shenandoah’s history. Read more about the 2020 ride.

Save the date for the next Bike Shenandoah ride on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
