ABOUT
BIKE SHENANDOAH
The Shenandoah Valley is tucked between the Alleghenies and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The rolling hills, farms, and cities of the Valley are renowned for beauty and history. Vibrant and growing cities mix with Old Order Mennonite farms, restored mills, Civil War battlegrounds, and dirt roads. As the colors change in fall, what better way is there to soak up the view than on a bicycle ride?
And what better bicycle ride than one that raises funds for five local agencies and an endowment helping those serving as educators in cross-cultural assignments? Learn more about who we support.
For 26 years, serious bike enthusiasts as well as casual riders and kids have been pedaling the Shenandoah Valley to raise money for organizations doing great work in our own backyard. We are proud to have raised over $500,000 since 1997.
Bike Shenandoah draws more than 100 riders each year for rides ranging from the 5K family ride to the 100K. Go at your own pace or ride with new friends!
"Why should I sign up for a ride?"
